Johnny Upton is a defenseman on the Charlestown Chiefs. He wears number 12 and is notable for being the team Captain. He is the only player to wear a helmet on the team and a distinct handlebar moustache.
When seeing the Hanson brothers play he refers to them as a "disgrace". He also seems to have a visible distaste for the General Manager, Joe McGrath.
When McGrath forces the Chiefs roster to take part in a fashion show, Upton informs McGrath that should he be forced to participate, he would flash the audience, causing all the women (within the exception of his wife) to run for the exits. McGrath calls his bluff, at which time Upton follows through with his threat.
